Welcome To Mavuno Church

Mavuno is not about information, but transformation. Exciting worship and hearing God’s word every Sunday
are the means to an end, not an end in themselves. Being at Mavuno should result in life-change; as seen in our work,
parenting, marriage, dating etc. From the believer who has walked with God for many years to the seeker who has not yet
given their life to Christ, we want the testimony of each person at Mavuno to be; “Im not what I’d like to be, but Im sure not
what I used to be”!

Watch The Sunday Sermon

Who is Jesus to you? How you answer this simple looking question determines not only how you apply yourself in this world, but also your destiny in the realm of eternity.

In our brand new series, ‘Beyond the Manger’, we go through the stories of key figures around the birth of Jesus- Mary and Joseph, King Herod, the shepherds, and the wise men, and from these uncover what it means to recognise Jesus as saviour, king, and the true purpose of life.

We will learn how to build and strengthen our faith + resilience and how to step into a life of God-ordained purpose… beyond the holiday season.

Catch our online service every Sunday at 10:00 AM (EAT) on our YouTube channel.

 First Fruits Offering

In Biblical times, when harvest time came, God called his people to bring their “first fruits” – the first yield from their harvest to him as an offering. This demonstrated their obedience and reverence for God, and showed that they trusted Him to provide for them.

The Hebrew word for first fruit is ‘bikkurim’—literally translated to ‘promise to come’. The Israelites saw these first fruits as freeing their future. God told them that if they brought their first fruits to him, he would bless all that came afterward.
