MURIITHI WANJAU – Senior Pastor
MURIITHI WANJAU, or Pastor M, as he is popularly known, is the senior pastor of Mavuno Church, a movement of churches based in Nairobi, Kenya with a presence in 10 different nations. He studied Biochemistry at the University of Nairobi before getting a Masters in Divinity from Fuller Seminary in Southern California.
Muriithi’s passions include leadership development and societal transformation. He is an author of several books including ‘Mizizi: Plugging Into Your God Purpose’, a discipleship manual that has been translated into at least 6 different languages and used in numerous churches across the world.
He and is married to Carol, and together they have three teenage children.
CAROL WANJAU – Executive Pastor, Vision & Alignment
CAROL WANJAU, BSc Chemistry and Biochemistry (UON), MA Theology (Fuller Seminary), MA Clinical Psychology MFT (Azusa Pacific Univeristy) serves as the executive pastor for the Mavuno Movement of Churches in charge of vision and alignment. She is also a speaker and author, and has written several books including ‘Simama: Victory Over Personal Battles’ and ‘Ndoa: Investing In The Marriage Of Your Dreams’.
Her passion is to see healthy family and church systems in the church in Africa.
She is married to Muriithi Wanjau and together they have three teenage children.
MILTON JUMBA – Executive Pastor, City Impact
MILTON JUMBA is the lead pastor of Mavuno Mashariki, a community of five congregations that is based in Nairobi’s densely populated Eastlands area.
He also serves as Executive Pastor for Mavuno Movement of Churches in charge of city impact, mobilizing all the Mavuno congregations across the world in loving and serving their respective communities.
As a training and development advisor, he is passionate for people development and team building. An astute organisational change and strategic thinker, Milton has carried out consultancies for governments, international agencies and corporate institutions with great success. He is a holder of a BA degree in Sociology/Philosophy, a business administration diploma, and holds a number of development certificates.
Milton is married to Vivian Bore.
