1 – JOHARI WINDOW

The Johari Window is a tool designed to help you increase your self-awareness and get a better understanding of your relationship with yourself and with others.

It is a simple framework that had four quadrants:

Open Area:What you and others know about you.
Blind Spots:What others around you see about you but you don’t see.
Hidden Area:What you know about yourself but keep from others.
Unknown Area:What only God knows about you.to-your-genogram

The diagram shows the 4 quadrants as the same size.

But here’s the thing – the bigger your open area, the healthier you are!

BLIND AREA – We reduce our blind spots by being open to honest feedback by trusted friends.
HIDDEN AREA – we reduce our hidden areas by sharing openly with trusted people
UNKNOWN AREA – we reduce our unknown areas by asking god to search us

2 – GENOGRAM

A genogram is a a graphical representation of a person’s family tree, history, and relationships, and is designed to help one identify and interpret the patterns within their family. On the surface, a genogram looks like a family tree, but whereas a family tree might show you who is married to whom, and who bore which children, a genogram digs deeper and shows you the actual nature of the relationships.
