Kingdom Business Basics

Kingdom entrepreneurships use different principles and have a different perspective on how and why they run their businesses.  In order to understand the nature of Kingdom business, it is important to understand the nature of the Kingdom person. In the Biblical creation story, Genesis  1:26-28 we learn several things about a Kingdom Business Basics.

Genesis 1:27-28

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number, fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

There are three things from this inception scripture that tell us the nature of the Kingdom Business person, informing us of who we are and what we are here to do.

Your Anatomy – What are you made of?

Who are you? The Bible tells us that we are composite beings made in God’s image and having the breadth of God. We are not gods, but we have an essence of divinity and you have the spirit of God in you. Because of this, as a Kingdom entrepreneur you are God’s ambassadors and your business should be a solution provider on earth.

Your Assignment – What are you here to do?

When God created human beings, he put them in charge of the earth. He let them rule and have dominion over all the earth on His behalf. Your business should be a solution to bring God’s order and solutions on earth which includes qualities such as peace, health, joy, prosperity, provision and justice. As God’s agent, your business should represent Him and help people see God.

Your Authority – Which tools do you have to rule?

Prayer is one of the tools we have to take dominion. Prayer is not reminding God to do something that He forgot. Prayer is inviting God of the universe to intervene into a situation. God does not intervene on earth without a willing human being. Through prayer we sermon God’s authority to invite him to release heaven’s power to intervene situations on our behalf. When we do not use our authority, the world goes to the dogs, so as a Kingdom Entrepreneur, it is your role to take charge and invite God to release heavens power into the situations.
