Welcome To Discipleship Groups
Jesus’ last command to his followers was ‘make disciples’.
We believe that discipleship must be the core business for anyone who claims to be a follower of Jesus. It’s why we were left here on earth, and its why we don’t get teleported to heaven when we become believers.
At Mavuno Church we invite every person who calls Mavuno their home to be a part of discipleship by joining and actively participating in one of our discipleship groups.
What is a dg?
A Discipleship Group (DG), by definition, is a group ideally made up of 6-10 people who live close together and meet each week to grow in faith together. The group is discipled and led by an individual or couple who serve as the DG Leader(s).
A successful Discipleship Group is one that helps all the members become fruitful and multiply. This means that each member should grow in their faith until they too are discipling others through leading their own DG.
