1.  JOB TITLE:  Procurement Officer

JOB LOCATION: Mavuno Church – Hill City

DURATION : 2 Years

REPORTING TO: Head of Operations

JOB OVERVIEW: The position is responsible for completion of a range of procurement processes and activities with the purpose of implementing appropriate processes, procedures and policies to support the efficient and effective procurement of goods and services for ministry in the entire Movement.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Perform administrative procurement activities in a timely and efficient manner, to support the acquisition of goods and services for efficient office and ministry operations.
  2. Compile and update the list of prequalified suppliers of goods and services
  3. Prepare and distribute tender documents, evaluate offers and negotiate /award contracts under the guidance of the Head of Operations.
  4. Review, record and prioritize purchasing requests, ensuring all supporting documentation is received in order to enable the procurement of goods and services.
  5. Coordinate and monitor the delivery of procurement requisitions, verifying receipts and inspection of deliverables, and performing follow up actions to ensure supplies reach HQ and Campuses in a timely manner.
  6. Collect and present information to enable informed decision-making and consistency of information presented to Operations team.
  7. Update, manage and maintain relevant databases and records, to ensure the information is accurate, organized, and available for others to access, and supports reporting requirements.
  8. Liaise with Operations team to support the alignment of procurement activities
  9. Provide technical support to campuses and other support staff, in order to assist them in completing standard tasks to agreed levels and deadlines.

QUALIFICATION:

  1. A University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or other relevant qualification from a reputable institution.
  2. Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management
  3. 3 year minimum work experience in a fast paced comparative organization.
  4. Experience working with suppliers or other third party on day to day basis.

2. JOB TITLE: IT Assistant

JOB LOCATION: Mavuno Church – Hill City

DURATION : 2 Years

REPORTING TO: Head of Communication

 

JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for the IT systems both Hardware/software equipment for the Movement

and participate in the identification of  equipment for purchase and custody of all IT equipment.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide assistance in the use of computer hardware, software, and specialized technology.
  2. Sets up and configures desktop computers, peripherals such as printers, and routers
  3. Tracking IT inventory and ensuring proper storage of equipment not in use
  4. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware,

networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.

  1. Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures within prescribed

guidelines and/or escalates to other technical resources as appropriate

  1. Maintains systems, databases, and web pages for the organization
  2. Administers user accounts for staff members.
  3. Transfer computer files between platforms
  4. Provides basic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for computer equipment.
  5. Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal
  6. Maintain up to date knowledge of hardware, software and equipment contracts and supervise

contract based installations.

  1. Conduct research on computer products in support of PC procurement and development

efforts. Evaluate and recommend hardware products for purchase.

  1. If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors

QUALIFICATION:

  1. University degree and a diploma in the field of computer science and/or management

information systems.

  1. Work experience of 2 years
  2. Excellent technical knowledge of network and PC hardware.
  3. Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  4. Extensive equipment support experience with PC’s.
